Description
LCS8+T / PCS8+T Description
Models LCS8+T and PCS8+T from Penton Audio USA are 15-watt, twincone, 8″ full-range speaker packages complete with grille and dual 70.7/25- volt transformers. Both have 10-ounce ceramic magnets that provide enhanced low-frequency response and greater efficiency. The PCS cone is also treated to withstand exposure to moisture.
The attractive PCS grille is molded ABS protected by UV inhibitors and has real eye appeal. Visually identical, the LCS features a heavy-gauge steel grille equipped with metal studs thereby showing only 4 visible mounting screws. Both are finished in non-reflecting ceiling white.
Each installs easily using the BBX8B steel backbox and BRG-8B tile bridge. LCS8+T and PCS8+T models are shipped with four 1-1/2″ white Phillips head screws.
LCS8T / PCS8T Description
The Penton Audio LCS8T and PCS8T are twin-cone, 8″, 10-watt, full-range speaker packages shipped with an attached grille and premounted 70.7/ 25-volt transformer.
Made of high-strength ABS, the PCS has the most eye appeal of any molded grille on the market and has a moisture resistant cone. Visually identical, the LCS features a premium, heavy-gauge steel grille with metal studs that shows only 4 visible surface screw heads. Both models are finished in non-reflecting ceiling white.
Both offer long-term reliability and even coverage for distributed audio. Each installs easily using the BBX8B steel backbox and BRG8B tile bridge. The LCS8T and PCS8T models are shipped with four white, 1-1/2″ Phillips-head screws.
LCS8TV / PCS8TV Description
Penton Audio Models LCS8TV and PCS8TV have small, recessed, nearly invisible volume controls mounted on a full-range speaker package. Each includes twin-cone, 8″, 10-watt, full-range speakers with attached grille and premounted dual-voltage transformer.
The attractive PCS8TV has a moisture resistant cone and a surprisingly rugged baffle made of all-weather ABS with molded-in UV inhibitors. Visually identical, the LCS8TV grille is heavy gauge steel with attached premium mounting studs, so the front only shows 4 visible mounting screws. Finish is non-reflective ceiling white.
For distributed audio, they offer long-term reliability and even coverage. Each installs using the BBX8B steel backbox and BRG8B tile bridge. Both LCS8TV and PCS8TV models are shipped complete with four, white, 1-1/2″ Phillips-head screws.
LCS8XT / PCS8XT Description
High-Performance Penton Audio USA LCS8XT and PCS8XT are 15-watt, 8″, coaxial speaker packages with baffles and dual 70.7/25-volt transformers. Enhanced performance is made possible with 10-ounce ceramic magnets for enhanced low-frequency response and greater efficiency. Tweeters use a postmounted, 3″ paper cone with a 1/2″ moving coil for smooth dispersion.
Unusually attractive, the PCS has a UV inhibitor molded-into its ABS grille. Visually identical, the LCS features a heavy-gauge steel grille with only 4 visible mounting screws made possible by 4 hidden metal studs. Models are non-reflecting ceiling white. Models install easily using the BBX-8B steel backbox and BRG8B tile bridge. LCS8XT and PCS8XT models are shipped with four 1-1/2″ white Phillips head screws.

Since the PCS grille is ABS, it is a good choice for indoor or outdoor applications. The LCS heavy-gauge steel grille is designed for indoor use.
They are ideally suited for low-cost applications requiring frequent adjustment of audio levels, but not available for adjustment by the general population. Models are designed for voice and music transmission in commercial / industrial applications, including general office, restaurants and hotel/motels.
