BPA2120 / BPA2240 / BPA2480 Description
The BPA Amplifiers are designed for perfect integration with the DSP Processors and offer a complete multi-channel solution with an optimum of security features. The BPA range is perfect for background music and PA applications in a variety of environments.
The BPA amplifiers were specifically designed for high dependability and are equipped with a host of fault warning abilities and safety features for maximum operational safety. Each channel is being powered by its own independent power supply so that in case of failure, the second channel is still operational. Each channel also accepts a 48 Volt back up circuit. Thermal protection via fuses is further enhanced by additional electronic overload protection keeping the system safe from all potential hazards. A fan provides forced cooling for the final power shelves and internal parts of the amplifiers. It starts up automatically when the heat shunt reaches a certain temperature threshold, and stops when the temperature returns to normal values.
A surveillance circuit is continuously monitoring the temperature and the presence of AC and DC power for both amplifiers. In case of fault, the front panel overload LEDs will switch on and the fault relay will be activated. Four LEDs display the status of each amplifier; AC and DC power supply, Line overload, and temperature overload. Further, a three-LED-VU meter indicates the presence of signal and level of audio.
To avoid handling errors, the volume output is set using the potentiometer located at the rear panel of the amplifiers.
