The Penton Audio RCS5T has a two-part, torsion-mount, CRS grille baffle with a steel mesh grille to present a stylish hardware-free look. Easy to install, terminal block connection and spade-lug transformer taps allow fast, easy installation and/or wattage change.
This speaker package combines the wide dispersion of a 5″, twin-cone loudspeaker with aesthetic excellence, installation advantages and a versatile four-watt, 70.7/25-volt transformer. Economy is provided by efficient design combined with a five-ounce magnet. The popular grille design is finished in non-reflecting ceiling white.
RCS5XT72 Description
The Penton Audio RCS5XT is a premium speaker package with a coaxial 5-1/4″ speaker mounted to a CRS, torsion mount baffle, complete with an attached high-quality, dual-voltage transformer.
Two-part steel mesh grilles present a stylish hardware-free look. Finished in non-reflecting ceiling white, the popular RCS grille is round.
Installer friendly, terminal block connections and spade-lug transformer taps allow fast, easy installation and/or wattage changes.
For a smoother frequency response, model uses an integral 10-ounce, 5″ coaxial loudspeaker, including a 1″ Mylar dome tweeter complete with a 1/2″ moving coil and neodymium magnet. With aesthetic excellence, installation advantages, and a versatile eight-watt, 70.7/25-volt transformer, these speaker packages make the difference between ordinary and superior installations.
RCS6T72 Description
The Penton Audio RCS6T speaker package is very attractive, yet offers unusual installation advantages. Its hardware-free look is courtesy of a two-part, torsion-mount, steel mesh grille. Wide dispersion is provided by a 6″ twin-cone, 10-watt loudspeaker. Also included in this speaker package is a versatile 5-watt, 70.7/25-volt transformer.
Besides torsion advantages, installation is speeded by its terminal block connection and spade-lug transformer taps. Typical mounting is made without hardware using the optional BRG6 tile bridge and BBX6 steel backbox. The MBK6 mounting bracket is also available to mount speaker in “blind-mount” applications. The popular round RCS speaker package is finished in non-reflecting ceiling white.

RCS8XT72 Description
The premium Penton Audio RCS8XT speaker package uses a coaxial, 8″ cone loudspeaker with 10-ounce magnet and 1″ Mylar dome tweeter complete with a 1/2″ moving coil and neodymium magnet. This model is fully assembled including transformer and grille.
Finished in a non-reflecting ceiling white, its elegant two-part, round, torsion mount CRS baffle presents an elegant hardware-free appearance and is exceptionally installer friendly.
Its exclusive terminal block and spadelug taps allow fast connection as well as wattage selection and/or changes. The RCS8XT is complete with a versatile 8-watt, 70.7/25-volt transformer.
Unit is designed to be quickly mounted in a BBX8 enclosure with BRG8 tile bridge without any hardware. MBK8 mounting bracket provides “blind mounting” without a backbox in.

RCS5T72 Applications
Generally, a 5″ cone speaker offers a wider coverage angle than a typical 8 without greatly compromising speaker efficiency or demanding higher power. Therefore, it is an excellent choice when ceiling heights are low. Naturally, since there is less cone area present, the low frequencies are not as pronounced.
The 5″ RCS speaker package is an excellent choice for value-designed in-ceiling audio projects. It is perfect for low-ceiling applications in industry, commercial and institutions, including offices, banks, schools, restaurants, hotel/motels, malls – wherever precise transmission of audio is required.
RCS5XT72 Applications
